Flora pro.activ and the British Heart Foundation have joined forces to raise awareness of heart disease in women.

The signs of Heart Disease are not always obvious and it can be difficult to tell you what shape your heart is in.
Because of this heart disease tends not to be talked about, this means your heart goes unnoticed until something goes wrong.
Traditionally heart disease is seen as a male preserve, many women are not aware that they could be at risk. In fact heart disease kills more women than breast cancer.

We want to raise awareness of heart disease by encouraging women to talk about their heart health, and take important steps in looking after their heart health such as monitoring their cholesterol levels.

Founded in 1961, the British Heart Foundation is the nation's heart charity. Its vision is a world where people don't die prematurely from heart disease. The British Heart Foundation does this through pioneering research, vital prevention activity, and ensuring quality care and support for people living with heart disease. It works alongside government, other health charities, healthcare professionals, and thousands of dedicated supporters to beat heart disease. Everybody has a part to play.

That's where Flora pro.activ comes in.
