Ty Ham Asaurus Rex Sandwich

Ty Ham Asaurus Rex Sandwich

Ty Ham Asaurus Rex Sandwich

A little less ferocious than it sounds, this Ty-ham-asaurus Rex sandwich is an easy ham and cheese sarnie with cucumber, on wholemeal sandwich thins. But you can make it really fun with some simple fiddles: cut off a corner, cut out a mouth, and cut up some cucumber teeth and bready spikes. Use a tiny cookie cutter or clean pen lid to make cheesy-cucumbery eyes and nostrils and lunch will soon be looking back at you!

Ingredients

  • 15 g Flora Light
  • 1 Warburtons wholemeal sandwich thin
  • 1 slice of ham
  • 20 g slice of cheddar cheese
  • 30 g cucumber slices

Directions

  1. Make up your sandwich by spreading the Flora Light and adding the ham.
  2. Using a sharp knife, cut out the bottom left corner of the square in a shallow L-shape.
  3. Cut out a mouth shape from just the top layer of the sandwich and remove the bread.
  4. Cut three slices of cucumber and create small triangle teeth from each slice and then tuck them under the sandwich inside the mouth area.
  5. From the offcuts of bread, cut some triangles and tuck these into the sandwich all down the back of the dinosaur for his spikes.
  6. Using a small circular cutter or clean felt-tip pen lid, cut two circles of cheese and then top with two smaller circles of cucumber skin.
  7. Make a small hole for the nostril and fill with a circle of cucumber.
