Crispy Marshmallow Treat

Use plant-based marshmallows and plant butter to make this classic American treat into a vegan friendly recipe.

Ingredients
 

  • 4 tablespoons Flora™ Plant Butter Unsalted
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 5 cups puffed rice cereal

      Instructions
       

      1. Line a 9x9'' baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
      2. In a saucepot over medium heat, melt plant butter and mini marshmallows. Stir regularly to prevent the marshmallows from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
      3. When Flora Unsalted and mini marshmallows are melted, remove pot from heat and quickly stir in puffed rice cereal.
      4. Pour mixture onto prepared 9x9'' pan. Flatten mixture into an even layer.
      5. When cool, cut into squares.
