Homemade Granola Bars 

Method

  1. Heat oven to 160C/140C fan. Line a 33cm x 20cm swiss roll tin with  non-stick baking paper.  
  2. Mix the oats, seeds, coconut, flour and dried fruit. 
  3. Melt the Flora in a pan, then add the golden syrup, sugar and peanut  butter. Combine all the ingredients together, then tip into the tin, pressing  down into the corners.  
  4. Bake for 20 - 30mins then remove and leave to cool completely in the tin.
  5. Cut into 18 bars, and wrap using baking paper and string.

~ Makes 18 bars ~

  • 300g porridge oats  
  • 100g mixed seeds  
  • 50g desiccated coconut 
  • 50g plain flour  
  • 200g Flora, melted  
  • 200g golden syrup  
  • 150g soft brown sugar  
  • 150g dried fruit 
  • 125g peanut butter
