Is Flora Plant B+tter packaging recyclable?Flora Plant B+tter packaging is made from 100% paper parchment and is completely plastic free. Sadly it’s not yet recyclable because the current UK&I recycling infrastructure doesn’t accept paper products with food residue still remaining on it, so it should be disposed in general waste. It is however 100% biodegradable and we are working hard on composability in the background to ensure we are playing our part in the future of our environment around us.

Why is the packaging material wrinkly?
Flora Plant B+tter is wrapped in parchment paper, a natural packaging material, which is sensitive to humidity.
The packs must withstand small temperature and humidity fluctuations after production and during distribution, storage and in home-use and since the material is humidity sensitive, wrinkling occurs.
