Add the sugar, butter & bean paste to a mixing bowl & whisk together using an electric hand whisk until light and fluffy.
In a small mixing bowl, mix together the cacao powder & milk. Then when this mixture is smooth add it to the butter mixture.
Sift the flour & baking powder, and add the salt. Fold everything together with a spatula and when the mix is coming together gently stir through the chocolate chips.
Cover the bowl with cling film and place the bowl into the fridge too cool for 2 hours. (Or in the freezer for 20 minutes if you’re cookie desperate!)
Pre heat your oven to 160 degrees C & line a baking sheet with greaseproof paper. Use an ice cream scoop or spoon to pick up 2-3 tbs worth of dough, lightly roll into a ball shape and place onto you lined basking tray around 2 inches apart.
Once you’ve filled your tray, place into the oven to bake for 10 minutes.
Once cooked, sprinkle over a little sea salt flakes & enjoy.
