  • 190 g plain flour
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 200 g golden caster sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 110 g Flora Plant B+tter Unsalted Flora Plant, unsalted, 250g, block packaging
  • 3 tbsp plain yoghurt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsps ground ginger 1 and a half tsps


      1. Preheat oven to 160c fan
      2. Sift the Flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda ,ground ginger & cinnamon
      3. Cream the Flora Plant and sugar until light and fluffy
      4. Add yogurt and vanilla extract
      5. Add the flour mix and bring all together
      6. Use a small ice-cream scoop to form the dough into balls
      7. Dip each ball in the icing sugar
      8. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper 2 inches apart then chill for 5 mins
      9. Bake for 12-15 mins and leave to cool on the tray. Don’t worry if your biscuits appear to be soft they will harden as they cool
