  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons gingerbread spice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons rum
  • 150 g Flora Plant B+tter Salted
  • 200 grams sugar beet syrup or molasses
  • 200 grams brown sugar
  • 200 grams ground almonds
  • 400 grams gluten-free plain flour
  1. Put the Flora Plant B+tter in pieces with the syrup and sugar in a saucepan and heat while stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Transfer to a large mixing bowl and allow to cool.
  2. Then add the almonds, 400g flour and the spices and knead everything thoroughly with the hand mixer (possibly add a little more flour).
  3. Mix the baking powder in a small bowl with the rum and dissolve in it. Add to the dough and continue kneading until the dough shines and no longer sticks. Cover the bowl with cling film and leave to rest in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  5. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Roll out the dough on a floured surface, cut out stars and place on the baking tray. Bake in the hot oven for about 15 minutes and then carefully remove from the baking tray. Let cool on a wire rack. Sprinkled with icing sugar to serve
